HOW TO GET INTERNATIONAL FUNDING
Three hands-on sessions + SLUSH 2025 in Helsinki - your fast track to international investors
Ready to raise beyond Denmark? We’ve built a shortcut.
Funding Academy gives you the tools, tactics and training to get investor-ready - without wasting time or guessing what VCs want.
Across three half-day workshops and a final trip to SLUSH, you’ll get the space to test, tweak and tighten your story - and then go out and use it in the real world.
This isn’t just theory. It’s practical, personal and built by people who’ve done it.
Part one - 1st of October - How to get international funding
Facilitated by entrepreneur and advisor Søren Nielsen. Get a take on the current investment climate from a scaleup founder’s point of view. Learn how to:
- Build a structured investor pipeline
- Use one-pagers to land meetings
- Nail your pitch narrative and deck
- Avoid the classic mistakes Nordic founders make when pitching abroad
Part two - 22nd of October - Get your dataroom ready for funding
With experts from EY, Danske Bank Growth, and Bech-Bruun. International investors expect a lot from your data room - and legal maturity is often a dealbreaker. In this session, we’ll cover:
- What documents you need (and how to prepare them)
- How to evaluate and improve your cap table
- What signals investor-readiness — and what kills the deal
Part three - 12th of November - How to hack Slush
Facilitated by founders and investors who’ve done it before. This is your final prep session before heading to Helsinki. You’ll:
- Get feedback on your one-pager and investor story
- Learn how to prep for spontaneous “sauna moments”
- Hear from founders who’ve raised big at SLUSH
18-20th of November - Slush 2025 in Helsinki
Join thousands of founders and investors at the most founder-focused event in the world. You’ll attend private sessions, meet with investors, and put your pitch into play.
